"life changing!"

I went to be assessed and then fitted for a Functional Electronic Simulation device at the BCH to treat my drop foot as a result of having MS.

The assessment and fitting was all done superbly.  I left each session more and more informed of the device and how it can help me.

I have had it fulltime for 8 days now and it is clear that this is going to be life changing!  This is by far the best medical intervention I have ever had.  The benefits are immediately clear.  My balance has improved no end, my confidence to walk any distance at all has sky-rocketed and my fear of trips and falls is ebbing away.  I haven't walked so much in years (15+) and now I do it with a big grin on my face!  This has hugely improved my mental well-being (I feel a whole and normal person again) and I've already set myself a whole raft of goals that will only improve my fitness and overall health.

So, what happened?  My life has turned around (for the better) immeasurably. How did I feel?  Ecstatic !
