"Audiology assessment"

After my recent audiology assessment I feel I would like to acknowledge the excellence of this department.  My test was conducted with a friendly and sensitive attitude by audiologist Joanna, going into thorough detail and resulting in an excellent hearing aid. After I left the appointment I felt privileged to have such detailed service, I believe the consultation was being observed - in no way was this obvious. 

I have been a patient at the clinic for upwards of 15 years and found the personal approach of the reception staff and technicians equally impressive.  A perfect example being when attending my brother's funeral some distance away I was due to make a spoken tribute but my hearing aid gave up, making it difficult to pitch my voice etc.  Next morning I phoned the department, explained the situation, drove down and met a technician in the Treliske car park {post covid} with a new hearing aid.

I hope this information illustrates how good this department is from the lady who offers you a cup coffee in the waiting room, to the can do attitude of the staff.  

My only criticism could be to remember to speak a little  more slowly to patients in. my age group -  ie mid eighties.
