About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Orthotics

(as the patient),

I've been receiving excellent care from the ladies at the Orthotics department to manage a Spelegian hernia via a made to measure support.

Karen has been great in guiding me through the measurement and fine tuning of the support.  

I felt the support was most useful and had helped me live a more normal life.  

I've since had my hernia repaired and hopefully won’t need the support anymore, but Karen has given me excellent advice about extra light supports and potentially supporting underwear to help prevent the hernia returning.

10/10 for Karen and her colleagues!

I'm very pleased that you have had such a positive experience as we work hard to maintain a high standard of care for all our patients. It gives us a great sense of satisfaction that the support we provided you with and the advice given was useful and improved your quality of life.

I will pass this on to Karen and the rest of the team as all staff strive to give our patients the best experience and its always great to hear when we are getting things right as it gives us a real morale boost.
