"An outstanding clinician"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

I had an urgent referral to Gynaecology following unexplained post menopausal bleeding. To be honest, I was dreading it, expecting a lot of discomfort and very anxious I’d faint. It’s such a vulnerable situation for any woman and, sadly, not every clinician empathises with that.

Dr Naheed, however, is quite simply in a class of her own. An outstanding clinician, completely focused on bespoke, compassionate patient care and an exemplary leader who encourages her team to play to their own unique strengths.

At this appointment, a student doctor was in to observe. He too was actively encouraged to support my care and to make the most of the learning opportunity. For example, he was able to ask questions about my negative experience (intolerance to) a medication.
