"Awful patient care and wait times"

I was sent to A&E following an appointment with my GP for suspected kidney stones as i had blood in my wee and abdomen pain, the A&E department was busy so a long wait was expected!

After 3 hrs I had some bloods taken, I then had to wait another 2 hours before a Dr came to speak to me, I was asked to do a wee sample to check I wasn't pregnant, this is almost impossible as i'm on the coil and my husband has had the snip! But I do the test anyway, the dr pulls me into a room and says do you know you're pregnant, to which I laughed and said I can't be so she tested the wee again same result! So I had to have more bloods taken and another 2 hr wait, I then get called to go for a scan. No discussion about the results of the blood test so I had to mention it to Ct department who rightfully refused until they knew what was going on so back to the ED waiting area to be called back to CT as apparently i'm not pregnant but the Dr didn't think to have a conversation with me! Back to wait for results which was about another 45mins to be told i'm fine, no apology about the mix up, no explanation to why I have blood in my wee, nothing. 8 hours I was in there, absolutely awful.
