"Tongue tied"

I can’t thank the Oral and Maxillofacial team enough for the incredible care they gave my newborn daughter and me. We were running late due to a communication issue on the ward, and I arrived feeling stressed and overwhelmed as a sleep-deprived new father. But from the moment I walked in, I was met with nothing but kindness, warmth, and genuine compassion.

Every single person—from the receptionist to the nurses and surgeon—treated us with such care and reassurance. They took the time to explain everything clearly, comforted me when I needed it most, and made what could have been a difficult experience feel calm and positive.

Thank you for making such a difference at such a vulnerable time. You truly made us feel looked after.
