After a severe fall, I was given excellent care and attention at the Minor Injuries Unit at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Extensive treatment was required for a very serious severed artery. I have benefited greatly from the staff’s expertise, professionalism and kindness. Fortunately, I broke no bones as I fell on my face: my hands were full. I do have a chronic condition: carelessness.
My only concern was that I required lengthy treatment while lying on the recliner and this would lead to bedsores! It didn’t.
I am extremely grateful for the effective problem-solving of Natalie, Gillian and Sam, a credit all to their profession.
"Expertise, professionalism and kindness"
