"ADHD diagnosis in my 50s"

About: Neurodiversity Services / Doncaster ADHD team

(as a service user),

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Amanda and Mandy for their outstanding support throughout my ADHD diagnosis and prescription process. After a lifetime of struggling and feeling misunderstood—especially after a particularly difficult experience with a manager who neither understood nor wished to understand ADHD—finding your support has been nothing short of life-changing.

At my age, finally receiving a diagnosis and learning that I am not “stupid,” but rather living with ADHD, has lifted a weight off my shoulders. Amanda and Mandy, your compassion, patience, and professionalism have made all the difference.

You listened without judgment, guided me through every step, and ensured I received the treatment I needed. The fact that there is medication and support available gives me hope and a fresh outlook on life.

Thank you both for your dedication and kindness. You have truly changed my life for the better, and I am deeply appreciative of everything you have done for me.

Dear Rosievix

You really are not "stupid", please keep and hold on to that hope and positive outlook!

You have got this!

Amanda and Mandy will get your feedback and the time you have spent leaving this feedback will be shared. important that we share the good, the not so good and the indifferent.
