I just wanted to thank the nurses and midwives at the early pregnancy unit in Daisy Hill Hospital. Caroline, Sheilagh and Rebecca. 

I had a prebooked appointment at the early pregnancy unit for a scan due to complications.  Unfortunately, the day before the scan I attended the emergency department as I was having heavy bleeding. The next day I attended the early pregnancy unit exhausted, emotional and overwhelmed. 

In my late 20s, newly married and only home from our honeymoon 2 days, I felt my whole world had been turned completely upside down. 

The care I received during my appointment and the follow up was absolutely brilliant. Caroline you are the definition of true compassionate care.  As a nurse myself I understand how important open communication is. Caroline took time to show me visually on the ultrasound that I had a miscarriage and retained tissue.

Your professionalism and kind words made me feel comfort in what felt like the most physically and emotionally challenging event of my life.
