(as a service user),

I have recently found out that Mandy from the Knockbreda Centre will no longer be my Health Visitor so I wanted to send in a note of thanks.

I had a particularly challenging birth and postnatal recovery period and Mandy was wonderful. She was patient, caring and well informed,  making me feel so much better and confident as a first time mummy (while coping with sepsis and breastfeeding challenges!). 

I will always be appreciative of the care that I got from Mandy. She is a credit to the Health Visiting team and I wish her well going forward.

Hello Amoh, I am delighted to hear you have had such a lovely experience with your Health Visitor. It sounds like you didn't have an easy start, I can only imagine how difficult that was for you.

My role is specifically is within Infant feeding and I'm sorry to hear you had some breastfeeding challenges. Our Health Visitors are pivotal in supporting mums through these challenges to enable them to continue their breastfeeding journeys.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a favourable compliment that recognises this.
