About: The Orchard Practice

I have been with this practice since around 2013 when it was called the Maple Practice, it used to one of the better ones in the area. I can honestly say it has gone completely downhill. My first indication of this is when I requested an allergy test for the stand in GP to tell me they dont exist. Earlier this year i was having heart issues for which I went to A&E for, their advice was to contact my GP for further monitoring should it continue. 8 weeks I had to wait to have a phone call with the GP, not even been seen! Now recently, wanting to get a suspicious mole checked, I did th E-consult and specifically asked to be contacted via text (I cannot take calls during working hours). They only tried to call me, not text or email and thus closed my consultation for me to do another saying on a voicemail "we cannot keep trying to call you". What is the point of stating a preference of contact if they will not listen?! The NHS is well and truly broken and this practice is a horrid example of that. I'm lucky (knock on wood) my worries aren't life threatening, I feel so sorry for anyone who does have life threatening conditions and are with this practice.
