"Everyone is doing a brilliant job"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I came into the BGH ED early one morning mid June after tripping and cutting my finger open on a run. The receptionist (I didn't get his name, but he was a young man and the only one on) was lovely and welcoming.

The doctor who looked after me and stitched my finger, Alyssa, was just wonderful, particularly as I am aware she will have been right at the end of a night shift and I know the department had been really busy over night so staff will have been tired and wanting to get home to bed.  She was kind, efficient, and highly skilled despite probably being very tired and I could not rate my care more highly.
Thank you for such a brilliant and quick visit, when the department is often so busy. Everyone is doing a brilliant job and the community is so appreciative of the hospital ED and its staff
