"Bit of a mixed bag"

About: Phoenix Medical Practice

I have used the new booking system twice for my daughter and you have to log on exactly at 8am to get a slot so i understand this is dufficult for some people but got a phone appointment once then a face to face second time and excellent care with both appointments.

Consideration should be given to being able to book a non emergency appointment further out for those who need it but equally if there isnt enough doctors to service this then I appreciate the emergencies need to come first.

Thank you for your comments. The change across to an online triage service for GP appointments, which we were mandated to bring in, has brought its challenges. We do continue to review and adapt how we use the triage system so that it gives as much flexibility to patients while ensuring we remain clinically safe in limiting the number of triages our clinicians can manage in one day. The number of triages we can allow is determined by the number of clinicians we have in that day and can vary throughout the week. The issue of booking a non-urgent appointment is something we are reviewing. Thank you.
