I am taking a pill called dienogest to treat severe endometriosis. My repeat prescription is for.3 months supply. I requested a repeat prescription over a month ago and was only prescribed one month’s supply without any reason. I rang the surgery who advised I would need a review with the nurse. I had my appointment with the nurse on Wednesday 11 June. My review went well and she apologised that the surgery’s pharmacy did not explain why I had only received one month’s supply. She acknowledged the importance of me not having a break on the dienogest because I could be in severe pain. She said she would request the pharmacy order a 3 month prescription and the pills would be ready for me to pick up the next day. I visited my pharmacy on Saturday who advised they have not received any instructions from the surgery’s pharmacist. I’m going to run out of my pill I’m the next few days. I have lost all trust in your service. Please call me first thing on Monday.
