"Maternity care"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as a service user),

I recently had my second baby at Larbert hospital. I received an exceptionally high level of care on both occasions from all staff at the hospital. The midwife who assisted my birth, Dayna, came across as kind and extremely competent and immediately made me feel comfortable.

Throughout my pregnancy and during the postnatal period, I also received wonderful care from the community midwives, including my primary midwife, Karen. All the community midwives were very knowledgeable and always took the time to answer questions as thoroughly as possible.

Overall, I could not have wished for better maternity care from NHS Forth Valley.

Dear jiveyg66,

Huge congratulations on the birth of your second baby. It is wonderful to hear your lovely feedback, and to know that you felt so well cared for by everyone, both in the community, and in the hospital.

I'll be sure to pass your kind words on to the midwifery teams, they will be absolutely delighted to hear them.

Wishing you and your family all the best as you settle into life with your new arrival.
