I had an appointment in the Difficult Asthma service with Dr Butler at the City Hospital Respiratory Clinic.

Dr Butler discussed my symptoms and explained in detail the results of a Pulmonary Function test which I had undergone some weeks earlier. She then outlined the changes she was proposing to make to my existing medication and how these should relieve the coughing fits which were causing me so much discomfort.

I found the consultation with Dr Butler to be both relaxed and informative.

The proper way to use the inhaler which Dr Butler was prescribing was then expertly demonstrated by Nurse Stone.

All in all, I had a very pleasant and positive visit to the Respiratory Clinic in the City Hospital. The staff were very professional and kind .
