"Extremely competent and confident in her work"

About: Forest Neighbourhood Team

(as a service user),

I am in my 80s, I became fragile after extensive treatment for sepsis. The following year or so I gradually lost my sight and am now totally blind.

OT Mary assessed my situation and realised I needed serious help including improvements to my tiny shower room which was seriously dangerous for me with regards to falls and hygiene and she approved an application for a new enlargement and conversion to a wet room.

When the work started she monitored the work continuously to ensure the adequate safety features such as grab handles, lighting, seating in shower and safe accessibility to all the facilities. She was extremely competent and confident in her work and carried it out in an extremely friendly manner and I am extremely grateful. Thank you, Mary.
