I had surgery at Stracathro recently. From the minute I arrived I felt at ease. My nurse, Katie, was so kind to me and we had a good laugh together. The other nurse who looked after me was called Natasha and her care was amazing too. They were brilliant nurses before and after surgery.
A few medical staff I met, but can’t remember their names, were exceptional. The male and female anaesthetic nurses were a delight and took my mind off things by taking about everyday stuff and that helped my nerves.
Then there was the nurse in recovery who made me feel comfortable and relaxed by answering all of my many questions.
I feel there is so much negativity regarding the NHS that I felt I had to write this. Honestly the most relaxing hospital procedure I’ve ever had. Thankyou to everyone involved
