I was transferred for observation from a&e late in the evening. Once on the ward, I spoke with a doctor on duty, amongst other symptoms, I talk about frequent fainting, that it often happens in the morning after waking up and described how does it manifest step by step.
In the morning, just after I woke up, I fainted in my chair. Ward nurse imitatly rose an alarm and started resuscitation procedure before checking my vitals. Whole drama unfolded in front of all other patients. I did not required resuscitation and when the nurse realised that, she shouted that I am just faking and left me as I was middle of the ward. She informed everyone that I was "choosing " to lay down in undignifing, uncomfortable and unsafe position, and instructed other nursing staff and assistants to not helping me. I did not required resuscitation, I fainted. Ward staff duty was to check and record my vitals and report to a doctor. Instead she humiliated me and repeatedly called me "mentally ill". I was not mentally ill and I was not faking! That incopetent cruel nurse was a disgrace of NHS.
"Traumatising experience "
