About: North Devon District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have needed help after my hip replacement operation and have spent a lot of time trying to get someone to answer the ward phone to get help but no one has ever answered and I have had to seek help through 111.

Dear cubeet99,

Thank you for taking the time to post a response following your hip replacement operation.

I am so sorry to hear that no one has answered to your calls on our ward. Sometimes when there are no surgeries, our ward is closed and no one would of been able to answer the phones.

I hope that you managed to get the help that you needed, please let us know if there is anything we can help you with.

I will pass on your feedback to our team. We are sending our apologies to you and we are hoping that you have a continued recovery.

Kind regards,

Ana-Maria Bacsik

Senior Staff Nurse

Jubilee ward
