"Exposure photograph Group at the Base"

About: Learning Disability Community Services / Day Opportunities

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Recently we went to Hazelbank Park were we took photographs. Some of the group walked while others with mobility concerns got a lift to the park. There were a group of 15 present and 5 staff members from the Base and Exposure photography. We took photographs of trees, the sea,  friends, flowers, a gate, exercise machine, the park and fancy wall. We all had a great time and look forward till next week.

It would be nice to stay longer and bring a picnic.

Thank You for taking the time to post about your positive experience with photography which you enjoyed with your friends from the recreational Base facility you attend through the Day Opportunities Service. As you suggest it would be nice to bring along a pic nic and spend longer at the park; I'm sure if you talk to your friends and support staff about this that would be possible. I'm really pleased to hear you all had a great time at this Belfast Exposed's Therapeutic Photography program through our Service in partnership with Trust's arts and wellbeing support and hope you continue to enjoy the photography sessions.

Thank You

Garth Anderson (Head of Service; Day Opportunities Service)
