I have tried on numerous occasions over several days to call the number advertised on socials 0203 973 0301. Noone is answering it and just rings and rings. We attended last week only to be told the xray machine has broken that day. I have been trying to confirm whether it is now working as l have an elderly mother who struggles to walk etc and needs an xray. We do not wish to make another wasted trip. The only number l got through on was Eltham Palace surgery who is in the same building and same area but the receptionist was most unhelpful and a jobsworth as it was totally impossible for her to help by answering or finding out a simple question. Neither would she assist in giving an alternative telephone number. If you advertise a number then you should ensure it’s answered and that there are options on that number. By not doing so you are portraying arrogance and that the public, your customers, are unimportant. How is anyone able to get through its a joke. On one occasion a man did answer but in his haste to get rid of the call he could not wait till l had finished my enquiry before he put me through to another non answering number. He could have quite simply answered my enquiry with a simple yes or no. I despair at the bad service the NHS is giving people these days and how they are isolating their customers and making them feel they do not matter. We all led busy lives and all people are important.
