I am carer of my younger sister, who never been like that before, she was at some point moving herself around but now things have been getting critical and I am helpless as no support or help has been provided to me.
We moved to Scotland thinking things will get better, local GP close to my home advised go to private doctor, never took proper blood test, my sister is insulin resistant, never advised or prescribed any medicines.
She has severe deficiency of B12 and D. B12 injection were sent to pharmacy, which I collected and asked to GP, does she need to drink them? Vit D no prescription.
Main problems are her shoulder bursitis, which was never diagnosed, in fact I believe it has intentionally been neglected as she is victim of abuse.
When I asked about her tummy pain, GP advised it is nothing or go private, private GP said it is hernia, after Ultrasound report, a month before she has been diagnosed fatty liver and umbilical hernia is growing fast, I have seen a red scar around her belly button.
All of reports I sent to GP, since then I call them to discuss but no reply.
I finally wrote letter to them. Which again no reply.
It could be dealt earlier and her tummy would not have that much pain and her life would be easy.
With all that she has developed celiac disease.
Now if I go to emergency the doctor will never know if she is insulin resistant in case she needs blood, which I am just imagining as I do not know where to get help.
All I need is some advice to handle these difficult times.
"Unfair treatment"
