"disappointed"

About: Waterside Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

I am disappointed with the Physiotherapy dept at Waterside Hospital, Derry. I was transferred from Altnagelvin to Waterside Hospital after fracturing my pelvis in May with the intention of having regular physio.

However, after only three days I was given a sheet of paper with exercises on it to follow and did not have any more physio.

We are deeply sorry that you were disappointed with the physiotherapy department at the Waterside hospital. We would like to thank you for highlighting this to our team.

During your stay, we felt that your goals were met to be safely discharged home as per your wishes. A community physiotherapy referral was completed prior to your discharge to continue with your rehabilitation goals once full weight-bearing status was confirmed by the orthopaedic consultant.

We acknowledge your concerns and endeavour to improve our service. Thank you once again for your feedback.
