I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, aged 40yrs old. I had chemo at Ninewells and then a mastectomy with diep reconstruction. The specialist breast nurses are absolutely incredible. The help and care they gave me shall never be forgotten.
I am currently having a nipple tattoo at Ninewells, with Hannah - one of the specialist nurses. She is amazing! So friendly and caring and doing such a great job of making me feel like “me” again. I really hope this service stays forever for other people going through this. It is helping me mentally and I can’t express enough how important this is.
