After being diagnosed with bowel cancer and undergoing major surgery, I was left with severe mobility issues and had to learn to walk again. That’s when I was introduced to Clare, a physiotherapist and her team (Clare, Maria, Owen and Conner) whose care, compassion, and expertise truly changed my life. From our very first session, Clare made me feel seen, safe, and supported. She took the time to understand not just the physical challenges I faced, but also the emotional toll of my illness.
Clare developed a personalised rehabilitation plan that was both realistic and encouraging. Her patience was unwavering, and she celebrated every small milestone with me — from standing independently to taking my first unaided steps. She challenged me when I needed it and gave me the confidence to push through my fear and discomfort.
What stood out most was Clare’s holistic approach; she treated me as a whole person, not just a patient. Her positivity, deep knowledge, and genuine dedication gave me hope at a time when I felt lost. Thanks to Clare and her team I not only regained my mobility but also my sense of independence and dignity.
I and my family will be forever grateful to her. Clare is not just a physio — she’s a healer in the truest sense.
