I went to Ayrshire Central yesterday for a mammogram. I have had a couple of these in the past and found it very painful. I was dreading the appointment.

The radiographer was lovely (I can’t remember her name) and chatted away. This was the best mammogram I have ever had. It wasn’t even uncomfortable.

I would just like to highlight this positive experience in the hope it encourages others to go for this important screening. I would also like to thank the radiographer for being so nice and excellent at her job.
