"The staff were all very attentive"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / Radiology

(as a parent/guardian),

My wee girl had fallen and banged her head. By the time we got to a&e she appeared to be badly concussed. A waiting paramedic offered to check over her while I checked her in.

She was then quickly triaged and seen by the consultant. My daughter was transferred into a bed while we waited on a CT scan. The staff were all very attentive, despite being run off their feet.

The radiographers during the CT scan were so lovely and calming and the scan was over and done with without a fuss.

I can’t thank the staff enough, especially Dr Pollock and staff nurse Lyndsey for their excellent care. We had a very positive experience and received excellent care.

Dear Ceg1989

Thank you for taking the time to write in about your recent experience. I'm sorry to hear that your wee girl had an accident and subsequent injury, however it is good to hear that

your visit to the department was a positive experience despite this.

I will make sure that your lovely comments are fed back to the radiographers in CT.

I hope your daughter is recovering well

With warm wishes

Sara
