"Care, compassion and kindness"

About: Tickhill Road Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

I witnessed the care that was given to an elderly relative on Hawthorne Ward at Tickhill Road. Care was personalised and staff were attentive to the needs of this patient. We witnessed staff taking time to explain what was happening and in them giving reassurance and such kindness when the patient was struggling and feeling frightened.  We saw compassion and empathy and witnessed staff going above and beyond their role requirements in order to ensure the patient's safety and to address their personal needs

Thank you so much for leaving your kind feedback. I am so glad your relative was well looked after by our staff - it really does make a difference, especially in the tough times.

All the best,

Dionne
