About: Leen View Surgery

I went for a blood test which had been ordered by the doctor. I was seen on time which was fine. However I wasn't pleased that when blood was taken, the person taking the blood test, did not disinfect my skin before inserting the needle in my arm.

I am Debra Juett, Practice Manager at Leen View Surgery. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you have had a negative experience. I have discussed your concerns with members of our clinical team and also referred to our venepuncture policy, whilst we do not have to clean the skin whilst taking blood we have decided we are changing our policy to do do this in line with best practice. Or policies will be updated accordingly. Thank you again.
