The "system" this practise uses for all patient interactions, including attempting to book appointments, is abysmal! I've worked in IT for 20 years and never seen a less user-friendly system or set of processes for engaging with customers/patients. It makes Ryanair look like a dream to deal with!
To request an appointment you must complete a 3 page online form at precisely 8am Mon-Fri. By 8:30am there is not even an option to request an appointment until 8am the next weekday.
To add further frustration, making a request for an appointment is no guarantee of receiving one, as once someone responds to your request (usually without actually arranging the requested appointment) the communication lines are closed - there is no mechanism to respond to any communication or ask any questions. You are required to play the 8am communication lottery again the next day and the next and the next until you convince someone you're ill enough to be granted the privilege of an appointment.
While the medical professionals at this practise seem fine, the number of frustrating hoops you need to jump through to actually receive any sort of basic medical care is absurd. Go anywhere but here!
