Had a 10 day post-op haemorrhage on Tuesday morning when convalescing with my sister in Lancaster.
Lancaster A&E had me triaged to the women’s hospital within 10 mins despite the department being very busy. The SHO saw me straight away and upon establishing the extent of the issue had the Consultant paged from the clinic. I was put on the emergency surgery list straight away and prepped for surgery.By lunchtime the exploratory surgery had identified and fixed the issue.
I could not be more grateful. What a fantastic service and such a lovely team in the Women’s Hospital.
