"They were happy, smiling and giving great care and service"

I had to come in every day for 7 days for CTG whilst awaiting an ‘urgent’ scan, which I was not happy about. Everyday going in as they had no appointments and spending a minimum of 3-4 hours waiting and getting this done was really draining.

However, I haven’t come on here to complain as such. I just wanted to say one midwife (I believe) that i have found in maternity triage has really stood out to me and I wanted this to be recognised. Her name is zaynab (sorry if I’ve spelt wrong!) and she helped me on quite a few of these days has been nothing but delightful. I have come across many people working there and most are not very happy and do not make you feel good, but zaynab has always been helpful and happy, smiling and giving great care and service. I believe she is an asset to the maternity triage team and she really knows how to make a pregnant women feel comfortable!

I really hope she gets promoted or recognised atleast for the great work she is doing in the department and I’m sure she is making many others happier whilst being in triage, which is a long(!) and tiring experience!
