"Prostate biopsy at Belfast City hospital"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I was a little nervous about attending for this procedure as I knew what it might entail.  But I was very impressed, with how everything was handled and organised within the Level 3 Urology unit of the Belfast City hospital.

I was taken into the ward on time and everything was explained to me firstly by the Doctor (Morris/Maurice) and then by the nurses on the ward. The nurses made me feel very comfortable and relaxed,  not only on the ward but also in the procedure room.

The procedure is a little invasive and a little uncomfortable,  but with medication and encouraging chat, my procedure was over very quickly.

I'm sorry I can't remember all the names of the nurses and auxiliaries but I think at least five of them made my visit very positive one.
