"They treat us with utmost kindness and professionalism"

About: Newry and South Armagh / District Nursing

(as a carer),

We have three beautiful souls who come visit with us.  Betty, Louise, and Adreen.  My spouse has end stage Parkinsons, and I am a nurse myself.

They treat us with utmost kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness.  They do the health care community proud.  We love them all.  As my spouse's cognitive ability fluctuates we are able to respond with kindness, and laughter.  As in "better to laugh than cry" mentality.  All done amongst ourselves whilst keeping his dignity intact at all times.

As a carer I need the few minutes of smiling to keep my batteries charged for the task at hand.  My beloved husband had/has a wonderful sense of humour, and he would approve of my getting a bit of support when I need it most.

We battled a terrible infection with a grim outlook to come out the other side with him in the pink and full of stories.  I can never repay these three angels who stood by me during one of the worst moments of our married life.

Thanks are just not enough!
