(as a parent/guardian),

We have recently accessed help from our GPs at Inveresk Medical Practice, Musselburgh. 

My teenager has long term back pain and anxiety. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. She’s been referred for appropriate tests and they have taken her seriously and listened to her with great empathy and kindness.

A special mention to Dr Sutherland, who just had the perfect bedside manner with my daughter. Can’t thank him enough. (Dr Harper and Dr Douglas were also great, thank you.)

I gather feedback from patients to recognise good practise and supporting improving services in NHS Lothian.

Dear Mumc,

Thank you for taking the time to share the story of your daughters and your experience of seeking help from your GP. I am pleased your daughter was treated with empathy and understanding, taking the time to listen and take her concerns seriously. I hope her ongoing tests and treatment are effective in relieving her back pain and reducing her anxiety.

I have shared your story with the GP practice who I'm sure will be delighted to receive it.
