About: Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73) / Labour suite

(as a service user),

Just wanted to express my thanks to the 2 fabulous midwives who helped bring my baby boy into the world on. Melissa and Fiona were amazing and made me feel so at ease from moment I met them. Having had a traumatic birth with my daughter 4 years previous at a different hospital. I was anxious given i needed induced again however can honestly say they made the labour and birth such a positive experience for me and I will forever be gratefull to them both. Their knowledge, banter and warm manner helped me so much and changed my narrative on how I view child birth to one of positivity. They are an asset to your team.
