"Great customer service from receptionist "

I just wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback regarding the receptionist who was on duty yesterday, 9th June.

She was absolutely lovely — warm, friendly, and empathetic throughout my visit. Although she wasn’t able to accommodate my request to move an appointment, she genuinely tried her best and handled the situation with kindness and understanding.

Later in the day, she kindly showed me how to download and use the NHS app to check the status of my test results, and also made a real effort to secure a same-day blood test appointment for me.

Receptionists at GP surgeries often face a lot of criticism, but I think it’s just as important to highlight when someone delivers excellent, compassionate service — and she truly did. While waiting for over an hour for my appointment, I also noticed her treating other patients with the same care and respect. She is a real credit to your team.
