I took ill towards the end of January 2025 the crew on the ambulance were great and helped to improve my condition on arrival at Daisy hill hospital ED. Unfortunately I deteriorated after arriving again. I ended up being transferred to Craigavon hospital cardiac unit.
Once again the care I received was great staff friendly and caring. My treatment was successful and discharged home. I was discharged into the care of cardiac rehab Daisy hill hospital. I had my first appointment and staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that is the end of my great care as I have had no follow up care or contact from cardiac rehab.
I have attempted to contact them with no luck in getting a return phone call or appointments. This is unfortunate as I had heard only good reviews of the service.
My thanks to NIAS ambulance crews for their great work the staff in Daisy hill hospital ED and to the staff in the cardiac unit and PCI laboratory for the great care and saving my life. I hope the cardiac rehab make contact with me soon.
