"Exemplary care"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Stepping Hill Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

I was suffering with acute nausea and a pain in my back under my ribs. When I arrived it wasn’t long before I was sent through to a different area where I was told that my bloods would be taken and I needed to supply a sample of urine.

I was given an x-ray, ECG and also a CT scan.

The doctor who was called Fenella examined me and asked me a number of questions about my condition. She was so thorough and left no stone unturned.

Unfortunately, they find what the issue was but they did everything they could.

The CT scan highlighted a few issues which Dr Dhillon explained to me and these are now being looked into.

I could not have received more caring treatment from all the staff in each department which I was treated and I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff who are doing an amazing job.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about the care you received while in the Accident and Emergency department and from radiology teams.

It was good to read how thorough the teams were in supporting to get to the cause of your issues. I am sorry this is still unknown, but I am pleased that you have some follow up to help with this.

I will share your feedback with the teams involved as I know they will appreciate this.

Kind regards,

Aoife Isherwood
