"Excellent care and support"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was under the care of the inherited cardiac conditions department at the RD&E hospital but have moved away to Berkshire. The nurse specialist Sofia called me today to confirm I had registered at a new practice and was being referred for care under a local hospital. She took the time and trouble to understand where I was with my referral and said she would cancel my follow ups in Devon. She then wrote a comprehensive letter to my new practice giving them all the historical information and results from my time under their care. This letter written in less than an hour after our telephone conversation.

Amazing service and I feel comforted that there will be no break in my care.
