"Everyone was so kind and brilliant"

About: Trauma & Orthopaedics / Major Trauma Unit (8CC)

(as the patient),

I was in a car crash that left me seriously sick with multiple fractures and breaks.

When I came here I was in so much pain I felt depressed and cudnt see a way out of healing.... All the ward staff were amazing with me they helped me out in every way they could in fact they went above and beyond ...nothing was to much to ask of them I never felt like I was being a nuisance to them once ....they were all so kind and helpful.

I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them ...I am now happy mentally and physical I feel I can over come anything and it's all thanks to them ...I'll never be able to thank them enough for giving me my life bk ...I would like to thank them from the bottom of my  heart ❤️ everyone was so kind and brilliant at their jobs I have respect for each and everyone of them ..

My name is Kate and I am the Lead Nurse for the Major Trauma Ward.

Many thanks for your very kind words for the staff on the Major Trauma Ward, RVH. It was a pleasure to look after you. Please know that I have shared them with the whole team and I know they will be very appreciative of them.

We are all delighted that you are recovering well and send you every best wish for the future as you continue your rehabilitation.

Best wishes, Kate
