"Excellent emergency service"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I dislocated my left elbow during a sports accident one evening recently. I went to the Accident and Emergency department at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy.

Louise who was a nurse working that night triaged my incident and prescribed me pain relief which immediately helped with my pain while I waited to see a clinician. I got imaging which luckily showed nothing urgent needed to be done. Kate who was the consultant on that night gave me advice on how to look after my arm and the future review plan by orthopaedic team.

I was very pleased with my experience that night and hope this feedback goes back to the team. Thank you!
