"A lovely team"

I was referred to endoscopy for a procedure that I was extremely nervous for. However, the experience was far less nerve wracking thanks to the team on the day. I was met by Jill who assured me she would stay with me throughout. I explained about my severe food allergy and Jill went out of her way to ensure this was known by all staff through my journey in the department.

Jill explained my options for medication thoroughly and talked me through my procedure both prior and during the procedure. The doctor was very kind and explained everything well.

Thank you to Jill and the lovely team that helped me that day. Your kindness went a long way and made me feel very at ease, a true asset to the Borders General.
