About: Spire Regency Hospital

I was admitted on June 3rd for a urological procedure with an overnight stay following general anaesthesia. From the moment I arrived for check in, to discharge the following day, the care was exemplary. This included the catering arrangements, which were modified after I was back on the ward to take account of my appetite being better than I’d expected. Nursing care was smoothly and compassionately carried out, in the evening and throughout the night, in such a way to cause minimal disruption. I came in with quite a number of prescribed medication, all of which were given to me at the correct time. Catheter removal, which I was not looking forward to, was carried out swiftly with minimum discomfort. I was an NHS patient, but my treatment throughout could have been no better if I had been paying for the procedure myself. Many thanks to all at the Spire Regency!!
