About: University Hospital Monklands / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Never having had a surgical procedure or general anaesthetic before I was extremely anxious on the day. However the professional care I received certainly helped towards reducing my anxiety. The procedure was explained to me clearly by the registrar and anesthetist, nursing staff were reassuring and extremely caring.

Mr Chin and Dr Lee both visited me after surgery which I was very grateful for as they further explained that the surgery had been successful. I wish to thank all staff at University Hospital Monklands for their expertise, dedication and care.
