"The care and treatment I received was first class"

About: University Hospital Ayr / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I attended the Medical Day Care Unit for an iron infusion. The nurses Clare and Karen were very welcoming and made me feel at ease. The care and treatment I received was first class. I felt very well cared for, relaxed and most comfortable. 

The atmosphere in the unit was lovely, I could tell there was a nice culture. 

I couldn’t have asked for better care - thank you.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided within the Medical Day Care Unit, University Hospital Ayr.

I am sorry to hear that you required to attend hospital for an iron infusion, but glad to hear that the care and treatment you received was first class. It is also great to know that you found the staff in the Unit welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. This is a lovely example of the person centered care that we strive to provide.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team and with Claire and Karen in particular. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you feel so well supported by them.
