"Kind, caring, patient and highly professional"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Breast Services

(as the patient),

I recently had a consultation and a breast core biopsy in clinic E (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, breast clinic).

I can't thank enough everyone who was there for me - nurses, consultants, everyone who I met. Especially big thanks to my nurses - Shona, who was so kind, caring, patient and highly professional, and Angie who was a real angel. She was holding my hand during the whole procedure! I don't remember I have ever met such an amazing and compassionate nurse in my entire life!

The biopsy was quick and painless. My doctor - Miss Elsberger- was totally brilliant. So I had a really great experience! I just wish I wouldn't have to wait so long for the results.

Good morning EkaKar79,

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent breast clinic appointment. It is great to hear of your positive experience while attending our one stop breast clinic. This I am glad you found the team caring, compassionate and brilliant.

It is helpful to get feedback on our services to celebrate achievements or highlight where we could make improvements. It is especially nice to hear positive feedback, and I have shared your comments with Shona, Angie, Ms Elsberger and the wider breast team.

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback and I wish you well with your results and in the future.

Kind regards,

Nataleigh
