Arrived at thoracic pre op assesment in the early morning was finally free to go by mid afternoon - some 7 Hours later.
Very uncomfortable, and in pain, painkillers had already wore off.
Was advised we might be there until midday.
Asked how much longer, not given any idea.
Not advised what I was waiting for next, each time returning to the waiting area.
The TV in the room turns itself off after 4 hours.
