"I couldn't have wished for a better service"

About: Community Services / Home Treatment Team Community Services / Hospital Liaison Team

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had recently used these services to restart my antipsychotics whilst remaining in the community, meaning I did not need an inpatient admission. It has been successful and I am now back on my medication. This is a great idea and I would recommend it to others.

The staff made sure I was always comfortable and informed. Jack & Emma were excellent in their work and very professional, and also very good company on the days I had to be at the hospital. Providing transport for me to get to and from the hospital made it less stressful for me. The staff involved my partner in every step and worked around her time off work. The home visits with the home treatment team were very good, always on time and very friendly, which also put me at ease. Overall, the experience was 100% better than having to be admitted to hospital for the treatment. I couldn't have wished for a better service and the only negative thing I have to say is that it has now come to an end.

Thank you for this wonderful feedback! We are trying new ideas to help keep people well and at home, and it is amazing to hear that you had such a good experience. Thank you again for taking the time to do this, I will make sure the staff involved are aware.
